Mock not the noble platypus! What other mammal has poison spurs, I ask you? Only a very clever designer, who recognized the inevitable amusement of uncouth heathens could have armed the cuddly creek avenger with envenomed claws to rake their foul flesh in retribution for such heartless and ill-mannered jokes!
