Dictionary disagrees. Besides, I liked the sound of crucifix better than cross.

Four out of five dictionaries agree with Rowan, as does the etymology (crucifixus refers to the person on the cross, not the cross). The sentiment is absolutely beautiful; I really would like to see it without the catachresis. Any chance you could post or send me one with the word “cross” instead? Otherwise, best LOLjesus ever.
