In one of our comments, reader Dante has taken us to task for not finding this photo of everyone’s favorite statue. He writes “Enough already. Is no-one gonna touch”
Perhaps it’s a sign. I mean, think of the staggering implications, that after a week (and more) blasphemous tributes, the very same statue is struck by lightning. Surely, this is a message from the all mighty to us all?
No, I didn’t think so either.
Then again, God always did have that funny habit of striking down other people for non-believers actions. Although it would be interesting, I mean, maybe my whole life would be turned around, and I’d end up a Saint! Just think of the illuminations!
Ahem. Back to the subject at hand.
The gauntlet has been thrown down, anyone care to pick it up?
ps.. Dante, we’re Americans, the only way that would show up in our news is if the statue was blonde and either kidnapped or in rehab, so we appreciate the pointer.
