A just ending to an honorable campaign season.
Vote Early, Vote Often.
Good morning everyone! Here at Loltheist, let us be the 798th site to urge you to get out there and vote today. Seriously. You need to vote. We know the polls have had this thing called for weeks. But you see, those polls don’t mean anything.
This is the poll that matters.
This thing can go either way. What’s more, the election results will be challenged one way or the other. So it’s vitally important to have as many votes as possible to counter all the game playing.
More importantly, if you don’t vote, you have no right whatsoever to be pissed off or complain about what happens during the next four years. That’s four years of righteous indignation you will be missing out on. Seriously, how can you let that go by?
Maybe there is hope for civilization.
I feel bad for waiting so long to post this, especially after I received the above submission. The Atheist Bus campaign was conceived in response to the damnation expressed in other ads. So they put a call out for £5,500 in donations so they could place ads on buses, with a matching amount being supplied by Professor Dawkins. Within hours they met their goal. But then something incredible happened. The numbers, they continued to climb. £10k, £25k, £50k, £100k and now sits at an incredible £107k (+ other donations). More amazing is the vast majority is made of £5 and £10 donations.
With their over funding, they are now looking to see where else they can place the advertisements, and the above photo was a mock-up of one such suggestion.
So anyway, this now absolves my guilt for not posting sooner. Terribly sorry Mr. Thinker.
Now where are we going to find stone tablets

Even virtual sack puppets offend Muslims.
One of the most anticipated games for the Playstation 3 , LittleBigPlanet, was scheduled for release on October 21st. Many retailers have already received their allotments with “do not sell” packing and agreements. This week it was discovered an ambient music track on one level has a couple of lines from the Qu’ran, which is apparently blasphemous. In response, Sony has issued a worldwide recall and moved the release date to November 4th. Nevermind that the Playstation 3 is fully capable of patching the game. They could offer a mail in program or something, but to recall millions of ready to sell discs is overkill.
More coverage on Kotaku, along with a copy of the email that started it all. To be fair, Muslims aren’t up in arms, yet. This is a preemptive move by Sony to save market share. A week delay isn’t going to kill anyone, except maybe Sony’s balance sheet, but the point is it shouldn’t have to be done.
ETA: You can hear the the track “Tapha Niang” by Toumani Diabaté in this youtube clip. It’s pretty catchy, I can see why they included it for LBP.
It’s really a size issue
Sad, sad, sad story here. Even if it is a couple of days old.
This also harkens back to our unloved T-Shirt.
Sorry for all the political posts, but well, much like Christian artwork, it’s such low hanging fruit. I mean seriously, how can we not? It’s not that we are against picking on other religions, it’s just that there is such a wealth of arrogance on canvas for us to focus on. Same thing with these campaign stories.
One can only hope this ends in 3 weeks. On the other hand, it could solve our content problems for the next four years. *shudder*
When God speaks, one must obey!
I got the phrase “Perma-tan God” from this article at Jewcy.com and I loved it so much I had to use it. Good article too. Please don’t bash my pals at Jewcy.com. kthxbye
