No idea on the source of this picture. (Found on LOLCat Buildr.)
2/2012: A source! Thanks Bob! and I’m pretty sure cuttlefish is latin for Cthulhu. Just sayin’. At the very least, a spy!

I love cooking, and I love all things cthulhiana, but I find this immensely disturbing. I would love to know precisely what this is.
I think I saw this on lolthulhu.com once.

don’t know where you folks get some of your weird, but I enjoy it anyway. here’s some of my weird.
That looks like some bizarre sweet of some kind, chilling in an ice bath.
I suppose Cthulhu would be chillin’ …
More like brined…
you know, I’m gonna go read the book again. I think maybe we’ve gotten off track somewhere, what with Hello Cthulhu and Knitthulhu and Edible Cthulhu up there—if we’re all going to be eaten alive for this, I’m gonna quit worrying about going to hell–I will, of course, post the results of my research for the benefit of all—
@Tallian. I’m being so clever, I don’t even look. I think that “water” is aluminum foil. Im pretty sure the tentacles are chicken.
@Rowan. Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wagn’nagl fhtagn.
@LolHeathen: Possibly a thin film of blue goo under plastic wrap? And the tentacles are pretty seriously gross.
Oh, and geseunteit.
I think it’s just the color balance giving a blue hue.
have I just been snorted upon by a minion of an Elder god? (note to self: send for that dictionary in the store)
okay, got the dictionary.
” In his house in R’lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming.”
totally cleared that up for me, thanx!
There’s a Cthulhu to English dictionary?
You even sell one! 🙂 well kinda 🙂
psst! you’re not supposed to tell anybody that the book is blank inside. Better let them think it’s full of important facts.
btw, I got the translation fromhttp://lolthulhu.com/
What the … blank inside, you say?
THE HELL you say!
Sorry to be a Cuthulu-moment downer, but those are cuttlefish.
So you admit they are related.
